UBC Pile Drivers & Divers take part in advanced training and certification classes at the International Training Center (ITC). To date, it is the largest and most comprehensive training facility of its kind in the world. The 1.2M SF state-of-the-art facility includes a 16,000-gallon underwater welding dive tank as well as a pile driver pit with overhead cranes – just a small part of the training center. The ITC leads the way in training, educating, and preparing construction professionals. Most importantly, members and industry partners gain skills required in today’s industries. In conjunction with skilled workforce training, we also develop and train local trainers at the International Training Center (ITC). This ensures trainers deliver the most current craft-skills instruction to members at more than 250 centers around North America. The UBC provides educational programs that are essential to building carpenters, pile drivers and divers, and millwrights’ skills as well as helping our industry partners achieve safe, quality, and successful projects.
